Thursday, 4 September 2025 Police investigating a serious injury collision in Heckmondwike have issued a further appeal for assistance.  Officers are particularly keen to identify the occupants of a grey Seat Ibiza and what is thought to be a silver Skoda Citigo or Seat Mii, which were seen crossing over Walkley Lane from Station Lane on to Church Street at around 9.30pm on Wednesday, 27 August.    Find out more:

Thursday 4 September 2025Police are appealing for information following reports of a group of youths seen with weapons earlier this month in Halifax town centre.The Calderdale District Investigation  Team would like to speak to anyone who saw or has footage of the incident which took place at about 4.25pm on Monday 1 September.  Officers attended after receiving reports of persons seen with knives in the Broad Street Plaza area and conducted a search.   Find out more:

Thursday, 4 September, 2025Police in Leeds are appealing for information following burglaries at a skate park and climbing centre in Leeds.  Leeds District Investigation Team is investigating two commercial burglaries at LS-TEN indoor skatepark and City Bloc climbing centre on Kitson Road, Hunslet, during the early hours of Wednesday, 20 August.  Items stolen during these burglaries include BMX bikes, scooters, a large quantity of climbing shoes and various household appliances.   Find out more:

Wednesday, 3 September 2025 Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury collision in Wakefield.It happened at about 5pm yesterday (Tuesday) on George A Green Road at the junction with Waterton Road in Lupset and involved a white Seat Ibiza and a white Husqvarna motorcycle.The motorcyclist, a 35-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which are said to be life-changing.   Find out more:

Tuesday 2 SeptemberPolice are appealing for information following a burglary at a mosque in Huddersfield.Officers were called to the Jamisalifa Islamic Centre on Halifax Old Road, Birkby at 3.34am this morning ( 2 September) to a report of a burglary there.Officers attended the scene at which a masked suspect had broken in through a door and unsuccessfully attempted to steal property from inside.He was described as masked and wearing a hooded black coat and all black clothing Find out more:

Monday, 1 September 2025 Police are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary in Hebden Bridge.  It happened at about 11am on Saturday, 30 August when three suspects entered a property in Lee Mill Road.  The occupant, a woman in her eighties, suffered bruising after being attacked in the incident.  The suspects, who are believed to be two males and one female, were all described as being black, or of mixed race.One of the males was said to be very tall and very wide, with big dark hair.   Find out more:
